Showcase

General

My client, Stamford Early Childhood Collaborative, a collaborative of the United Way of Western Connecticut, requested a simple website that was easy to use and update, to communicate with various audiences. I created, wrote and designed the site using a web builder. I also created a Facebook page and guidelines for social posts.
Developed a media campaign, including a press release and media advisory, announcing the recipients of the Kyle A. Marks Humanitarian Award, given by the Stamford Peace Youth Foundation. This example shows some of the coverage received.
Developed a media campaign and press releases for Beyond Limits Academic Program, highlighting a peer-to-peer tutoring program. Pitched a feature story and arranged for reporter to interview students. Resulted in story on News 12 CT.
Edited highly detailed and technical research report for the labor accord of NAFTA on Migrant Workers' Rights in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Developed a press release announcing the launch of an educational program called "Beyond Limits Scholars Program." Stories appeared in numerous broadcast and print media outlets, including a front-page, top-of-fold story in the largest local newspaper, the Stamford Advocate
Arranged interview for my client, Brian Kriftcher, Founder and President of the Stamford Peace Youth Foundation, and Head Coach of PEACE Basketball Club, with local sports host, Joe Ryan, on his show, "Stamford Sports Scene."
