Since December of 2000, I have written on a freelance basis for AOL CityGuide. My work has included coverage of theater, film, dance, music, art, architecture, and, most important, shopping. This particular piece, published sometime in 2004, was written during a period when the editors aimed to make sure that every Broadway theatre had a description.

Back Stage has an occasional column called "Take 5," in which we ask well-known entertainment industry professionals -- typically writers -- to name their top five this and that as it would relate to actors. Durang was a great interview.
