Professional Experience
As an award-winning journalist, author and editor I focus on business, health, science, environment, education, families, lifestyles, parenting, profiles, real estate and social issues. As both a magazine editor and publisher, I’ve managed editorial products from the concept stage to distribution: assigning, editing and writing; managing art and production teams; trafficking; interfacing with printers; and managing advertising sales teams. I’m an excellent mentor who can create editorial teams who work cohesively to produce award-winning content. In addition, I’m the author of 40 nonfiction books, a ghostwriter, and a journalism professor.

Women in aerospace and defense are working to solve the labor shortage and diversify Long Island’s manufacturing sector. As skilled manual labor retires, there aren’t enough workers drawn to the industry to replace them.
