I'm the rare book designer whose publishing experience goes beyond design, having worked in several book production roles, including Director of Production and Managing Editor. I've edited, proofread, indexed, and designed and laid out countless books, in addition to supervising the entire production process at small publishing houses. This broad experience allows me to provide clients with excellent guidance for all their production needs, and to design and construct books with the experience of someone who has seen, done, and managed it all. I pride myself in creating clean, elegant books and having every detail perfectly in place. Most importantly, I know that book design is more than a nice-looking page; good design is about function—it has to accommodate all of the manuscript's needs, it has to print well, and it has to be effortless to read.
