My work has been published in magazines that span the spectrum from Wired to Yoga Journal. My deepest roots are in health and science writing, but I have the skills to nail any assignment. In the past year, I have written articles on topics ranging from the dearth of doctors in Nevada and the future of casino gaming technology to electronic music prodigy Porter Robinson and tips for a fantastic first dance at your wedding. After racking up a long, diverse list of regional cover and feature stories, I am turning my attention toward freelance writing for national magazines. A cum laude graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism and a full-time journalist for more than 15 years, I have the training and experience to deliver the goods.
