Professional Experience
*EMMY AWARD WINNING DESIGNER* I began my career 22 years ago as a graphic designer with Hamptons Magazine while enrolled as a Fine Arts major at Southampton College in Long Island, NY. In 1999, I was determined to design for TV and accepted a position as the Art Director of the television news station, WUSA (Channel 9) in Washington, D.C. I worked on graphics and animations in the art department, and in 2000, I won a Capital Region Emmy Award for outstanding program achievement.
As a graphic designer, my work has appeared in and on the covers of magazines in New York City and Washington. I can definitively say that my skill set and personality type are tailored to marketing and graphic design. My forte is relationship building, and I excel in communications, primarily because I enjoy people.
