Before I worked as a freelance reporter and content writer, I worked at Amnesty International in Amsterdam, as a travel guidebooks author for Dutch publisher ANWB Media and as a writer and editor about academic research at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I've also had temporary jobs at the Dutch embassy in Kuwait and the Iraqi embassy in The Hague.
