Strategic Communications Tools and User Guides

This data guide was created for use by teachers in middle school classrooms, with the idea that it would help students better understand the economic concepts presented through the data on bea.gov
Designed for use by laypeople and the media, this website user guide featured graphics and plain-language concepts to encourage fuller use of BEA data.
This internal e-newsletter shares how communications can help please donors, information about web statistics and Facebook analytics and external resources.

Website and Social Media Management

The ABA ROLI website (4,000+ pages) underwent a redesign and migration in 2012. Within the context of the ABA content management system, CQ5, we were able to implement several new features to enhance usability, including a searchable publications database, a newsroom and more comprehensive multimedia offerings.
In addition to presenting our work by region and country, the website also presents ABA ROLI's work by its seven thematic areas. This sections includes information about our work to combat the rape crisis in DRC and to promote women's rights in Eurasia, among others.
As part of our 20th anniversary celebration, ABA ROLI established its social media presences (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn). They each cross-promote website content, media coverage and events, with particular success among international audiences.
