Professional Experience

A freelance writer who has lived and worked in NYC, Chicago, Paris, and London, I have written about subjects varying from film in the silent era to post-Enron corporate governance. I received an MFA from Columbia University's School of the Arts, where I also worked as Arts Editor for "Inside New York". I am a former Editorial Associate for "Harvard Review". I currently am a writer for BrainPOP.com, working on editing movies and creating robust scripts, FYIs, and game content. I also transcode and compress movies for iPod and iPad compatibility, function as an editor for BrainPOP's CC text, and for the learning content of their BrainPOP Jr. movies. As the director of NYC's only year-round short film series, I worked with writers and filmmakers, both nationally and internationally.
