Elaina Loveland been a writing, editing, and communications professional since 1999. She is currently editor-in-chief of International Educator magazine. Loveland is the former editor of the Journal of College Admission and GAMA International Journal, a magazine for managers in insurance and financial services (she was also director of communications for the association).
She is the author of two books: (1) Creative Colleges: A Guide for Student Actors, Artists, Dancers, Musicians, and Writers and (2) Creative Careers: Paths for Aspiring Actors, Artists, Dancers, Musicians, and Writers.
Loveland holds a B.A. and M.A. in English and has taught English, writing, and editing courses at several institutions in the Washington, D.C. area.
Loveland has written for several national magazines including American Careers, Dance Teacher, Dance Spirit, Hispanic Outlook on Higher Education, and U.S. News and World Report, among others.
