Professional Experience
I decided I wanted to be a journalist when I was nineteen and have never looked back! At the end of an internship at a local community newspaper, I was made a paid freelancer at the end of my term--making me a paid reporter before I even graduated from the University of California, San Diego. Since then, I have had my work published in numerous national, online and local publications, and my reporting experiences include touring a homeless shelter, interviewing former juvenile offenders, and even interviewing a famous television personality.
