Professional Experience

As a former newspaper staffer, I have the reporting, writing and editing skills to track down and humanize any story. I’ve gone from covering city politics to writing about lifestyle/fashion trends, reviewing the arts, and interviewing entertainers for regional and national publications. Recently, I’ve uncovered the best shopping in Detroit for America Online's City Guide; penned human-interest features for The Detroit News; and profiled an "Alias" crew member for NY-based Zink Magazine. I’ve also published personal essays. I’ve spent several years as a features editor, so I know the other side. My copy comes in clean and on time. I go the extra mile to make my editor’s life easier.
