As a freelancer I've written frequently on travel, art, architecture, and cuisine. I'm an expert on Santa Fe and the Southwest, having covered the area for Sunset Magazine, Compass American Guides, Zagat Surveys, Fodor's Guides, and local publications. My magazine staff jobs include serving as editor-in-chief of Islands Magazine, executive editor for Outside Magazine's two annual Travel Guides, and editor-in-chief of Santa Fe Trend.
