Teri Cooper Brown is a full-time freelance writer and former gifted education teacher. She writes education, parenting, travel, and children's nonfiction. Her work has appeared in major markets including The Washington Post, Disney's Family Fun, Disney Family. com, Atlanta Style & Design, and Baby Talk. She was a contributing author for Duke University's Gifted Parent Letter, a journal for parents and teachers of gifted children. Teri is co-author of Play, Think, and Grow (Abingdon Press) and developed children's curriculum for Abingdon Press.
