Alice Munro Gets 4/1 Odds To Win the Nobel Prize

munro304According to the betting site LadbrokesAlice Munro has 4/1 odds to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. The winner will be revealed on Thursday (October 10th) at 1:00 p.m. CET.

As literary types speculate about this year’s nominee for the Nobel Prize in Literature before the official announcement, UK gamblers are hard at work trying to predict a winner.  Haruki Murakami has 5/2 odds to win the most prestigious literary prize. Belarusian author Svetlana Aleksijevitj has 6/1 odds and Joyce Carol Oates has 8/1 odds.
