Regulus Group is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support the FAA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct research, drafting, and editing of technical documents (e.g., System Specifications, Interface Requirements Documents (IRDs)) to support NAS systems, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Coordinate with project and program managers to develop and update Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), collaborating with FAA Legal, FAA Contracting Officers, and non-FAA partners to finalize documentation.
- Manage the NAS Change Proposal (NCP) process, tracking system changes efficiently to support program objectives.
- Plan, administer, and ensure adherence to FAA technical writing policies and procedures, maintaining high-quality documentation standards across projects.
- Implement and maintain standardized record management practices to effectively communicate NAS concepts, practices, and procedures, utilizing FAA-approved tools.
- Support project and task leads with knowledge management practices, including coordinating and implementing changes to FAA KSN tools.
- Work independently and facilitate group discussions to resolve documentation issues in a dynamic environment, collaborating with program/project staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Perform multiple program management assignments with minimal direction, contributing to project planning, execution, and success.
- Utilize MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word) to prepare reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Self-manage work assignments, ensuring high-quality, on-time deliverables that contribute to customer success.
- Foster collaboration, contribute to project direction, and effectively communicate with team leads, managers, upper management, and government clients.
- Support and promote a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment, actively participating in knowledge-sharing opportunities.
- Serve as an integral member of the government program office, leveraging expertise in program management, risk identification and mitigation (RIO), and decision-making processes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Ten years of relevant experience
- High level of proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office products.
- Strong analytical background and good interpersonal skills.
- Experience in program management is ideal.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance.
