We are looking for an amazing Manager of Music Programs to fill this role, based in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office. You will be responsible for developing and delivering compelling music programs that appeal to a variety of guest demographics and ship itineraries. Managing shoreside and fleet-wide Music Direction teams, overseeing recruitment and scheduling of top talent to optimize the Princess Entertainment Experience onboard. Ensuring accurate music licensing across all entertainment uses, including live, pre-recorded, ambient, web, and production shows, with grand performance rights when needed.

Responsibilities
- Manage the development and implementation of all music program and operations areas.
- Oversee the development and execution of new and ongoing music programming, focusing on new trades and supporting marketing strategies.
- Manage staff recruitment and planning with Compensation, Planning, and Fleet Resource teams.
- Oversee staffing for all PCL vessels, including seasonal placements, cost efficiencies, and communication using ROSE ATS and TMS platforms.
- Develop and communicate operational guidelines for new programs and activities, coordinating with shipboard and shoreside management.
- Manage Princess vendor talent partnerships, negotiate fees and terms, and execute service agreements.
- Clarify existing policies and develop new standards to enhance guest experience.
- Assess and communicate risks related to music licensing, safety, and legal considerations onboard.
- Manage and approve shipboard expenditures, monitor budgets, and oversee departmental purchases.
- Communicate effectively with senior shipboard and shoreside personnel regarding product or operational decisions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in music artistry and/or recruiting, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Detailed knowledge of the music industry and its relation to the cruise industry.
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
- Ability to develop and implement engaging music programming within budget constraints.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and reprioritize as needed.
- Experience managing multiple budgets.
- Negotiation skills for licensing fees, content, and supplier relations.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.
This position is hybrid, requiring three days in the office (Tuesday-Thursday). Starting in 2027, on-site work at our new Miami, FL headquarters will be required.
