Technical Writer

We are seeking an experienced technical writer to create, deliver, and maintain content aligned with business objectives, user needs, and learning goals. The ideal candidate will utilize current software development tools, processes, and practices across all levels of a solution stack to transform complex technical language and processes into accessible content for users.

You will apply user-centered methodologies to define and create essential content, combining technical expertise with creativity to explore different technical and business approaches to solve challenging problems. This role involves working within an ambitious, cross-disciplinary team to produce clear and effective documentation.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Brainstorm with engineers to extract key messages from initial drafts.
2. Create user-friendly deliverables such as getting started guides, installation guides, tutorials, and release notes.
3. Provide graphics, videos, and other creative media suitable for the target audience.
4. Collaborate with content designers and information architects to:
1. Develop materials that support user content needs and learning objectives.
2. Implement an information architecture that facilitates content discovery, usability, and comprehension.
3. Validate content for technical accuracy and completeness.

Minimum Educational Requirement:

Bachelor's degree preferred.
