Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Senior CAD Designer

specializing in

commercial construction

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a

minimum of five (5) years of experience

in CAD design for construction projects and a strong understanding of commercial construction systems, materials, and processes. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring designs meet industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop accurate

CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical plans

for commercial construction projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met. Review and interpret

architectural and engineering drawings

related to construction systems. Ensure designs comply with

building codes, safety regulations, and company standards . Utilize software such as

AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-specific programs

to create detailed designs. Assist in material take-offs and cost estimations. Maintain detailed documentation of all drawings and revisions. Provide support during the construction phase, ensuring accuracy and resolving design issues as needed. Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum

5 years of experience

as a CAD Designer in the

commercial construction industry . Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software . Strong knowledge of

commercial construction systems , materials, and installation methods. Understanding of

building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations . Excellent

attention to detail and problem-solving skills . Ability to

read, analyze, and interpret construction documents and specifications . Strong

communication and teamwork abilities . Ability to work in a

fast-paced environment and meet deadlines . Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with

BIM modeling and 3D design tools . Familiarity with

estimating software

for construction materials. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in

Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field

(preferred but not required). Certifications in

construction or CAD software
