Production Editor

  • Responsible for production-editorial of ABCT journals and publications, including Behavior Therapy, Cognitive and Behavioral Practice, and the Behavior Therapist
    • Liaise with editors, authors, and Elsevier personnel
    • Copyedit and proofread articles to conform to APA style
    • Copyedit, proofread, and layout the Behavior Therapist digital newsletter, and maintain calendar of house material
    • Liaise with typesetter/printer and other vendors related to printing and production
  • Responsible for copyediting and proofreading all materials printed through the publications and communications department, including convention materials (program, brochure, etc.), website, fact sheets, social media, and other
  • Responsible for soliciting and advertising in all ABCT publications, maintaining relationships with long-time advertisers.

Graphic Designer

  • Responsible for visual/graphic communication, both print and digital, including:
  • Conceptualize and carry out visual branding of ABCT’s annual convention
  • Design an array of marketing materials related to and promoting the annual convention (postcards, flyers, web content, banners, signage)
  • Maintain recurring documents such as registration forms, member applications, and awards certificates
  • Resize logos and art across platforms
  • Implement layout and design of newsletter, including promotional ads
  • Maintain ABCT brand in upkeep of business cards, exhibiting materials, and other collateral
