Content Marketing Specialist

We are currently seeking candidates for a Content Marketing Specialist opportunity with a highly successful financial services firm located in Boston, MA. The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing content for multiple social media platforms, managing content calendars, ensuring consistency with brand stands, and evaluating campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of related content marketing experience in financial services of investment management industry.

Content Marketing Specialist

We are currently seeking candidates for a Content Marketing Specialist opportunity with a highly successful financial services firm located in Boston, MA. The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing content for multiple social media platforms, managing content calendars, ensuring consistency with brand stands, and evaluating campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of related content marketing experience in financial services of investment management industry.

This is a 12+ month contract opportunity, paying between $30-$35/hour (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and tailor content for various social media channels (including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Reddit) with a focus on educating investors and boosting brand interaction.
  • Simplify complex financial topics into accessible, engaging, and easy-to-understand messages that resonate with the brand’s voice and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively manage content calendars, drafts, and review processes, ensuring attention to detail and consistency in tone.
  • Track platform performance and actively suggest ideas to enhance storytelling and improve engagement tactics.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the timely production and delivery of content.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and emerging social media trends to drive content innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (required).
  • 3+ years of related content marketing experience in financial services or investment management industry.
  • Strong background in financial services or investment-related content creation, with expertise in producing platform-tailored content for Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Reddit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, adept at adjusting tone and style to suit diverse platforms and audiences.
  • Skilled in storytelling and copywriting, with a focus on simplifying complex financial concepts into engaging, jargon-free content that educates and engages retail investors.
  • Agile and responsive, capable of navigating complex challenges and capitalizing on strategic opportunities while balancing both high-level perspectives and detailed execution.
