Hours and Responsibilities:

• Assign up to nine workload hours per semester.
• Create syllabus and timeline for classes each semester.
• Provide meeting times for students.
• Manage online grading system and submit grades promptly.
• Follow university and department policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of principles, methods, and current developments in the field.
• Subject matter expertise and instructional skills.
• Ability to support, instruct, manage, motivate, and evaluate students.
• Proficiency in computers, Internet resources, MS Office, and BannerWeb.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
• Effective communication skills verbally and in writing.
• Ability to interact professionally with students, colleagues, and the public.

Preferred Qualifications

• Terminal degree in a related field.
• Higher education teaching experience.
