St. Patrick School, in Anamosa, Iowa is seeking a passionate and faith-filled Music Teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate will bring both musical excellence and a commitment to nurturing students' spiritual and personal growth through music. This role includes teaching music across grade levels, directing concerts, and coordinating music for weekly Masses. This is a .4 FTE which is 16 hours per week.

Subject Area/Teaching Field/Endorsement 144 K-8 Music

Passion for teaching music and fostering creativity across all grade levels.

Strong knowledge of Iowa Fine Arts and Common Core standards in music education.

Ability to plan, coordinate, and lead student performances and liturgical music for Mass.

Proficient in using instructional technology to enhance and differentiate learning.

Effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, parents, and clergy.

Experience adapting lessons to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.

Commitment to supporting and modeling Christian values in a Catholic school environment.

Skilled in choral and instrumental direction, including rehearsal leadership.

Highly organized, flexible, and proactive in contributing to a positive school culture.
