Lecturer- Visual Arts Pool
Salary/Pay Range: $1,020 per credit hour. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications.
This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Work Location: Determined by course modality: On-campus, online, or hybrid. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.
Summary
The College of Letters, Arts, and Science (LAS) at UCCS will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Visual Arts for future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and made semester-by-semester. The courses taught will depend on departmental needs and may be in person or online.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must have a Master’s degree in the field or significant experience in the field, demonstrated through a Letter of Expertise submitted to HR, written by the department chair.
