Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Instruct undergraduate students in your field of expertise.
  • Plan lectures and assignments.
  • Grade papers and exams.
  • Hold regular office hours.
  • Assign grades based on student performance.
  • Attend meetings as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of professional journalism experience.
  • Experience in undergraduate teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Previous college or university teaching experience.

Tenure Status: Adjunct (NTE)

FLSA: Exempt

Part-Time Status: Yes, 8 hours/week, 0.2 FTE

Rate of Pay: $6,500 per course
