Webko of Wausau is looking for a full-time Graphic Artist.

Attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and excellent organizational and analytical skills are a must. Responsible for producing quality graphic-artwork for client apparel, promotional items, and online Web Stores. This position is full-time and the hours would be 8:30am-5:00pm, M-F.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design artwork for customer apparel and promotional products. This includes designs for both screen printing and embroidery.
  • Deliver production-ready files that are complete, accurate, on time, and appropriately prepared for each production process.
  • Work closely with the sales representative to create online web stores for organizations and corporate clients.

Experience/Skills:

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or Print Technology (Preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or Print Technology.
  • Comprehensive background, understanding, and experience with MAC and PC design applications, such as: Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Screen Printing and Color Separation knowledge preferred.
  • Graphic design: 1 year
  • Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year
  • Adobe Illustrator: 1 year
  • Customer service: 1 years
  • Meet specific corporate brand guidelines for all Clients and Programs.
  • Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
  • Perform all graphic design job orders according to job ticket requirements.
  • Operate computer equipment (Mac), scanners, laser, and color printers.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales Representatives and Customer Service Representatives to understand job requirements and objectives and ensure all design work is approved prior to production.
  • Coordinate with screen and embroidery printing Press Operators to ensure graphics work meets their expectations and requirements.
  • Proven graphic design experience and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to problem-solve and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized and able to work independently and in a self-directed manner.
  • Above average computer literacy, typing skills and web-based applications skills.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and help promote a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
