About the Role

The Visual Merchandiser supports the management team in achieving goals by providing world-class service. Serves as a role model for building relationships with customers and maintains presence through store supervision to ensure appropriate staff coverage areas.

What You'll Do

• Create engaging customer experiences by sharing expertise on styling, decorating, and entertaining.
• Seek and promote innovative ways to make Pottery Barn a neighborhood destination for inspiration.
• Interpret and execute visual inspiration to drive sales and convey the eclectic, creative, and modern spirit of the brand.
• Ensure merchandising and displays are visually compelling to drive sales.
• Model and coach associates on upholding visual standards.
• Promote the lifestyle and protect the image of the Pottery Barn brand.
• Make the store a fun, inspirational neighborhood destination.
• Regularly replenish the sales floor and maintain visual presentation and displays.
• Execute floorsets reflecting the brand's inspiration, standards, and spirit within the required timeframe.

About You

• 1-3 years of experience in merchandising or visual roles.
• 1-2 years experience in home-related design or visual merchandising preferred; specialty retail experience is a plus.
• Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to motivate and influence others.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
• Ability to operate POS systems.
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 pounds safely.
