We currently work fully in office at 4400 Cartwright Rd., Missouri City, Tx 77459.

Responsibilities:

  • Send timely reports to Assistant Project Managers as well as any questions or concerns.
  • A Designer II has architectural knowledge to support the project. These Designer II's are qualified to train Designer I per company standards.
  • Assist in coordinating the process of obtaining permits and overseeing tasks to ensure compliance with regulations and successful project execution.
  • Utilize and review computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam to create and review accurate and precise architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D models.
  • Assist to ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards while developing architectural designs.
  • Assist with conduct site analysis to understand the context, topography, and environmental factors that may impact the design process.
  • Assist with determining the optimal allocation and organization of spaces within a building, considering functionality, circulation, and user requirements.
  • Assist with researching and selecting appropriate building materials, finishes, and interior elements that meet project requirements and budget constraints.
  • Prepare construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules, to communicate design intent to contractors and facilitate the construction process.
  • Document communication with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in preforming administrative tasks, including assisting with budgeting (Consultant & Fee Schedule) and documenting project progress (Trello), to ensure timely and successful project completion as per client and company goals.
  • Assist with generating POs properly as per company standards.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an architectural or design firm, with a demonstrated ability to contribute to complex projects.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong design and graphic presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of building codes and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative.
