Role The Marketing Specialist role will support the Wealth, Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking (WCIB) and Institutional Client Group (ICG) business lines through management and execution of local marketing activities created to engage clients, prospects and centers of influence. The specialist will have a hands-on role in event management, local sponsorship fulfillment and uptake of event marketing tools and resources. The position demands interaction with colleagues on the WCIB marketing team, business line leadership and sales teams, and key partners across U.S. Bank to ensure a consistent and distinctive client experience. An understanding of the WCIB & ICG business, strong communication and problem-solving skills, accuracy and flexibility are also key components of this role.

Responsibilities Execute local marketing plans with a strong focus on client events, local sponsorships and event marketing tools that support WCIB & ICG business goals: Collaborate closely with WCIB & ICG Segment Managers to define and execute creative strategies for impactful and engaging client experiences. Work in tandem with WCIB & ICG Segment Managers in the planning and execution of client events (e.g., invitation process, attendee management, event execution and metrics). Assist with development of marketing content related to local sponsorships and manage through U.S. Bank Compliance review process. Support national marketing initiatives and events, as needed. Support onboarding and offboarding of client facing employees with biographies and announcements, as needed. Advise and communicate directly with varying levels of region and market leadership and marketing colleagues daily. Participate in WCIB market/team meetings. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience. - Six or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results. Preferred Skills/Experience Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent. Understanding of marketing and communication principles. Prior experience with wealth management and/or commercial and corporate business a plus. A minimum of 5 years prior experience in client related roles. Successful record of building community and corporate partnerships. High energy, “can-do” attitude personality and ability to thrive in a growth environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills. Exemplary oral and written communications skills. Calm and professional demeanor in high pressure situations. Ability to work autonomously and collaborate well with virtual work teams. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Schedule The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
