Your impact We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Design Manager to support our water and industrial water infrastructure projects. Design Centers are focused in the US and Canada but deliver projects globally. Focused designs deliver water and wastewater solutions, including the design of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, water conveyance, and consulting for our industrial and municipal clients. The Design Manager will lead the scoping, planning, and delivery of our projects, including the quality and financial performance of the design team.
As a Design Manager, you will leverage your people management skills to optimize your team’s performance and consistently deliver high-quality technical solutions for our clients. Additional Responsibilities
Lead and manage teams through all phases of design planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to meet scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements.
Manage and coordinate between multi-disciplinary teams for holistic delivery of industrial water design projects.
Be highly organized with attention to detail.
Interface with clients on multi-disciplinary design decisions.
Ensure projects are completed to the satisfaction of project managers, clients, and stakeholders, while meeting Jacobs’ health and safety, quality, financial, and risk management standards.
Contribute to the development of the Industrial Water Market Strategy, delivering leading-edge technology solutions.
Demonstrate leadership with integrity and candor, supporting Jacobs' Culture of Caring.

Requirements
Experience with large-scale Industrial Water projects is a plus.
Experience with design/build process is a plus.
BS or MS Degree in Engineering or related discipline focusing on water/wastewater systems.
Minimum 8 years engineering experience, including at least 3 years managing multidiscipline design teams.
Construction background is applicable.
Preferred
PE License or ability to obtain.
Experience with Design-Build and/or EPC projects.
International project experience.
Additional Information The salary range for this position is $145,000.00 to $200,000.00, with pay based on location, skills, experience, and education.
