POSITION SUMMARY: The Community Specialist manages internal and external community communication channels for Essentia, including social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X), Facebook Workplace, Nestle campuses, and Essentia Nation Rewards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team focused on creating consumer-obsessed experiences that drive relevance and demand. We seek a motivated self-starter passionate about engaging consumers meaningfully. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Social Listening Conduct real-time social listening across native platforms and social listening tools to identify insights and opportunities. Identify key consumers to execute surprise and delight initiatives to foster relationships. Collaborate cross-functionally to execute and align social media strategies with business objectives, including audits and measurement plans. Execution and Engagement Implement and monitor social media content calendars, including copywriting, planning, scheduling, and publishing. Moderate brand mentions and engage with consumers positively, trending topics, and cultural conversations. Identify and engage with influencers fitting the brand's community. Optimize and adapt agency-created and UGC assets to maintain active social presence, securing necessary approvals. Participate in in-person events for content capture and brand coverage. Integrated Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration Develop community activation ideas and coordinate with teams for content and activation execution. Manage influencer campaigns in collaboration with the influencer marketing team. Partner with Customer Engagement Services to address product inquiries and manage crises. Coordinate legal aspects of social campaigns like sweepstakes and contests. Internal Communications & Campus Coordination Update internal platforms like Facebook Workplace with marketing activations. Coordinate product drops, campus screen updates, and manage Essentia Nation Rewards content and logistics. Serve as primary contact for promotions, ensuring timely execution and monitoring KPIs like engagement, registrations, and participation. Reporting Prepare quarterly performance reports with insights and recommendations for stakeholders. Perform additional duties aligned with brand and team needs. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Deep understanding of social media landscape and community activation. Fluent in consumer needs and social trends. Bachelor's Degree required. 2-3 years experience in social media management for brands or organizations. Expertise in social analytics tools, trends, and best practices. Excellent communication skills (written and oral). Proficiency with Canva Pro, Instagram Reels, TikTok editing tools. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience with social listening tools like Talkwalker, Sprinklr. Background with CPG brands and agency collaborations.
