Job Location: Downtown Houston, TX 77002 *Prospective candidates MUST be located in the HOUSTON, TX area.
Job Type: Contract *This contract position has a duration of 12 months.
Job Schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM/Hybrid *Exact hybrid schedule will be determined by direct manager.
Job Salary: $34-$36/hour *Depending on experience.
Overview
This role supports a dynamic Creative Web Services Team by developing, maintaining, and enhancing websites and web-based solutions built on the DNN (DotNetNuke) platform. The ideal candidate will be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to accessibility, branding consistency, and technical accuracy. This position involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver visually cohesive, user-friendly, and standards-compliant web experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build, troubleshoot, and enhance DNN-based websites and associated web assets.
- Implement and update content and page layouts in alignment with accessibility standards and branding guidelines.
- Conduct thorough reviews of website content and code to ensure accuracy, functionality, and readiness for deployment.
- Document work progress and manage tasks using DevOps and other project tracking tools.
- Participate in regular team meetings (virtual and in-person) to coordinate deliverables, share updates, and align on project goals.
- Deliverables and timelines will be defined by project managers and business analysts, with a focus on departmental initiatives including Flood Control and other internal programs.
- Work will be scheduled and executed in accordance with established project plans and deployment cycles.
- Completion and documentation of tasks within DevOps.
- Achievement of project goals and adherence to timelines as monitored by management and senior team members.
Education & Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in front-end web development, with demonstrated proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DNN.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), branding implementation, and DevOps or similar project management tools.
