Job Description:

LALO is looking for a Print Designer specializing in POS, event collateral, experience design, posters and billboards. In this role, you will function in a “utility” role, leading and owning the design and production of a wide variety of assets. You’ll collaborate closely with our VP of Commercial Marketing, Chief Brand Officer and Digital Graphic Designer. This role requires strong technical design skills, creativity, production design experience and the ability to balance priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment, with constantly evolving and shifting needs.

We’re a small, but highly experienced team, with leadership from prominent CPG brands like Heineken, Jim Beam, Anheuser Busch, Waterloo, and tech companies like Netflix, DoorDash and eBay. You’ll learn a tremendous amount across all disciplines of marketing. We’re growing very fast but still function with a start-up mentality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Highly designed and elevated posters, shelf talkers, case cards, display materials.
• Experience working with print shops and preparing, proofing and delivering press ready files

·Cups, napkins, hats, straws, bandanas, pool tools – anything and everything

·New ideas for on and off premise Point of Sale materials – think outside the box

Event Design:

• Menus, invitations, event signage
• Mapping out event space and providing 3D renders

Brand Design

• OOH: Designing billboards, wild posters, that are thematic and fit within the context of the location
• Gifting: Design and creating gifting elements for PR needs. Packaging, items, and overall layout
• Ability to write creative briefs and supervise photography shoots.

Team Collaboration and Workflow:

• Work closely with the VP of Commercial Marketing to ensure all a tight production workflow using Monday.com
• High disciplined with respect to naming conventions, folder structure, layer and smart object organization and project management best practices.

Hands-On Design:

• Be willing and ready to design assets, roll up your sleeves, and create work and direction when and where necessary.
• Comfort working across disciplines and be able to assist with additional print asset needs on a limited basis.

Core Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in print design within an agency environment, with a portfolio showcasing a mastery of digital first content creation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and light experience creating 3D comps.
• Strong understanding of preparing assets for printing.
• Excellent typography and layout skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• A self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit who can work independently, while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
