BELEN Network is hiring: Radio Frequency - RF Engineer in Cupertino

We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer for a major telecommunications project in Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Software Defined Radios (SDRs), field-based RF measurements, and drone-mounted testing systems. This role is pivotal for deploying advanced RF measurement solutions and ensuring optimal signal integrity during live field tests.

• Set up and manage RF measurement systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability in field environments.

• Deploy and monitor drone-mounted RF systems to capture precise measurements.

• Perform RF testing, analysis, and troubleshooting for live deployments.

• Configure and maintain Software Defined Radios (SDRs) for optimal performance.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance RF performance and signal integrity.

• Ensure compliance with FAA's Small UAS Rule (Part 107) for drone operations.

• Conduct real-time analysis and provide solutions for signal interference and data anomalies.

&

• 5+ years of experience in RF Engineering with hands-on field measurement experience.

• Proficiency with Software Defined Radios (SDRs).

• Strong understanding of RF concepts, wave propagation, and signal measurement.

• Familiarity with drone-based RF measurement systems.

• FAA Small UAS Rule (Part 107) certification or willingness to obtain it.

• Excellent troubleshooting and real-time problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work outdoors and perform field measurements safely.

• Experience with UAS drone operations and RF path analysis.

• Knowledge of spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and RF testing tools.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data logging and analysis for RF measurements.
