Howard University's Benefits & Wellness . Key Responsibilities

Edit and prepare course information and marketing copy for various promotional materials. Support website management and content creation. Develop creative marketing strategies targeted at the general public or specific groups. Collaborate with program directors to optimize marketing formats and schedules. Advise on strategies to attract public interest in the school's programs. Organize and execute public relations events to promote the school's mission. Create advertisements and review scripts for accuracy before release. Plan and coordinate direct mail campaigns for courses and conferences. Evaluate and maintain vendor relationships for printing and advertising services. Maintain records of departmental activities and events. Stay informed about new marketing technologies and trends by attending industry conferences. Perform other related duties as assigned. Core Competencies

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Understanding of printing and publishing standards. Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written. Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups including staff, faculty, students, and the public. Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or GED with 2-4 years of work experience. An AA/AS degree can substitute for up to 4 years of experience; a BA/BS degree can also substitute for up to 4 years of experience.
