Base pay range

$23.75/hr - $30.00/hr

ANCHOR PACKAGING is a growing manufacturer of disposable food service packaging located in Northeastern Arkansas. We are looking for experienced INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHS to join our team. Anchor operates 4 locations in NE Arkansas, offering a variety of activities and a community with excellent schools, affordable housing, and healthcare. Our plants operate on 12-hour shifts: 4 shifts one week, followed by 3 shifts the next, with options for day and night shifts.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position under the Medicinal Marijuana Provisions of Arkansas.

Purpose

To install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect and test machinery, diagnose electrical problems, and perform repairs to ensure safe operation.
  • Dismantle defective machinery, install reconditioned or new parts.
  • Perform planned maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and electrical repairs.
  • Plan and install plumbing, maintain pipe systems, gauges, valves, and related equipment.
  • Maintain physical structures of the facility.
  • Utilize knowledge of PLCs to troubleshoot machinery.
  • Operate machine tools for repairs and fabrication.
  • Use welding equipment to join or cut metal parts.
  • Basic carpentry and masonry skills are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred; or five years related experience/training; or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, manuals, and safety rules.
  • Basic math skills and understanding of geometry.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Industrial Maintenance Certification or equivalent experience.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, heat, electrical hazards, loud noise, and high heat index. Physical effort includes standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and vision requirements.
