Technical Writer - Editor

In this role you will…

1. Support mission assurance assessment team requirements, assessment reports, staffing, coordinating, and processing deliverables in accordance with MAA timeline requirements.
2. Produce fact-based documents and reports with information about MAA products and services, and how they work.
3. Gain/maintain an understanding of MA products and/or applications and then design and write documentation to support user requirements.

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience as a technical writer

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Linguistics, Communications, or related field required

Security Clearance Requirements:

• TS/SCI

Other Requirements:

• May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
• Requires ability to perform repetitive tasks including filing and scanning
• May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
• Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires traversing between buildings
• Ability to manage stress with professionalism
• Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills, and the ability to work well with others
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

This position is contingent on funding.

Watermark provides salary ranges where legally required; other estimates may not reflect total compensation. Final salary depends on multiple factors including experience, education, and certifications.
