Sinclair Broadcast Group is hiring: News Producer in Green Bay

WLUK Green Bay is seeking a creative News Producer for the market's #1 morning newscast, Good Day Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our newscasts. This position involves working closely with the Executive Producer, Content Manager, and Anchors to determine the content and flow of newscasts, generate and write stories, and develop content for our website. You will be part of a talented team of journalists, including anchors, reporters, photographers, editors, and other producers, all dedicated to serving Northeast Wisconsin with top morning news content.

• Solid news judgment
• Compelling and accurate writing skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to produce an engaging and informative newscast
• Capability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to execute news strategies and goals in daily broadcasts
• Flexibility and quick problem-solving abilities

Experience:

• Previous newsroom experience preferred, whether in a commercial or college setting
• A Journalism degree is preferred
