RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Acton, MA that is seeking a Senior Technical Writer.

Summary:

This role will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and management of accessibility-related annotations within design flows, management of strings for localization, and creation and review of design documentation for all app platforms. It is a highly collaborative role where you'll partner with multiple cross-functional teams distributed across the country and globally. You'll use your editorial mastery to ensure all copy adheres to requirements. The role requires the ability to receive critical feedback and communicate effectively, even amongst strong opinions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA or BS in a discipline related to Technical Writing and the English language (e.g., Business Communications, English), or 5-7 years of related experience in content creation for a medical device manufacturer and/or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience writing/editing scientific/medical material in the medical device industry.
• A strong background in technical writing is a must.
• Healthcare, life sciences, or diabetes experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand medical, clinical, and technical aspects of diabetes management and drug delivery products.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of building collaborative relationships.
• Ability to coordinate and synthesize requirements from a variety of subject matter experts in upstream and downstream functions.
• Comfort with a dynamic agile software development environment.
• Ability to make problems visible and actively participate in solution-finding.
• Flexibility: driving a focused approach while being able to pivot in a growing, fast-moving organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools and applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with quality management systems like Arena, Polarian, or similar (preferred).
• Proficiency with UX and planning tools such as Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet (preferred).

Additional Information:

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. Actual pay may be more or less. Compensation is based on factors like education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remain at Kforce's discretion unless and until paid and may be modified.
