POSITION SUMMARY

Heritage Werks is seeking a Creative Producer to join their growing team! In this role, you will lead the planning, project management, and execution of creative activations that bring heritage content to life. You will oversee the development and delivery of exhibits, video, and audio programing, digital content, internal communications initiatives, and other storytelling experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about heritage content with a keen eye for detail, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and can adapt seamlessly to shifting project timelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the execution of heritage activations and creative projects, including exhibits, interactive displays, AV productions, and digital content on various platforms.
  • Advise clients on best practices for leveraging their heritage and archives through various activations while presenting project recommendations. Oversee project execution, providing guidance to team members and creative partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets company and client standards for quality and accuracy.
  • Provide planning and integration support for assigned projects, proactively engaging experts across Archives, Content, Research, Creative, Platform, and Client Services teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Assist the Production Director in tracking, assigning, and scheduling work for Content and Creative departments.
  • Maintain a database of past project budgets and templates to inform new estimates and scheduling. Collaborate with the Production Director, Managing Directors of Content and Creative departments, and Client Services and Business Development teams to provide proposals and estimates for new projects based on historical data.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks or issues and collaborate with the team and external partners to ensure timely resolution.
  • Stay informed on trends across the archival, museum, publishing, creative, and experiential industries, actively contributing to the innovation of the company’s activations and production processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • A bachelor’s degree in history, museum studies, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in production, project management, or a related role working with historic materials.
  • Familiarity with archival processes and history-related content, including experience handling original artifacts and historical images
  • Strong project management skills with proven experience managing complex projects, including expertise in creating and managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments, effectively balancing creative and technical aspects of projects while working with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and capable of navigating complex and evolving projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software and some familiarity with creative software (Adobe Suite)
  • Passion for sports and a keen understanding of pro and college fan culture is a plus!
