Job Description:
Design-Build Discipline Lead/Deputy Design Manager
Parsons is an industry leader in delivering complex, challenging, and high-profile infrastructure projects. Our recent landmark design-build projects include the Federal Way Link Extension in Seattle, the HART City Center Guideway and Stations in Honolulu, the Foothill Gold Line Extension, LA Metro G Line, Purple Line Extension in Los Angeles, CA High Speed Rail – CP1 in Fresno, US 69 Express Lanes near Kansas City, and Chester Bridge between Missouri and Illinois.
We are seeking Design-Build Discipline Lead/Deputy Design Managers to join our team. With over 30 design-build projects underway across the US and more than 50 pursuits, you will have numerous opportunities to gain visibility on projects nationwide. This role involves providing direction and management for large-scale projects including roadway, bridge, tunnel, or rail and transit elements, particularly in the Western US. You will support marketing efforts, scope development, scope management, and project performance. Remote work options are available, with site visits as necessary. Some relocation or travel to project sites will be required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assist with managing projects or programs valued over $1 billion in total installed cost.
Deliver essential transportation improvements.
Foster collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
Required Skills:
4-year degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
12+ years of relevant work experience.
Registered Professional Engineer.
Experience in Design/Build projects.
Roadway or Bridge design experience.
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams on high-profile projects.
Desired Skills:
Ability to develop project proposals and winning strategies.
Strong business and commercial acumen.
Leadership qualities with professionalism and presence.

This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team, committed to designing and delivering projects that connect and protect communities worldwide. We work collaboratively to plan, design, build, and modernize infrastructure, aiming to improve communities' quality of life through economic growth, mobility, sustainability, and resiliency.
Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
