What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance brand identity
- Create marketing and public relations strategies to build relationships with targeted external audiences
- Identify challenges and emerging issues, and define strategies to address them
- Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person for media interactions
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a communications team to execute the communications strategy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, either in-house or with an agency
- Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for media placements
- Extensive writing and editing experience across various print and online media
- Demonstrated leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications and media relations program
