Our client is currently seeking a Level 3 Audio-Visual Technician to join their team onsite in Folsom, CA. This Technician will have frequent interaction with clients in person and via phone, email, and IM. They will work in a dynamic team and cross-train to backfill for peer team members. The client will challenge you with additional responsibilities, assigned periodically to meet their needs and provide continuous hands-on training and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Quick troubleshooting of AV systems with minimal BKMs
• Engage external vendors for RMA replacements and out-of-scope maintenance
• Improvise and creatively troubleshoot to work around rooms that are "hard down"
• Build and maintain IPL GC3 Files (removing and adding drivers)
• Update Extron and AMX firmware for preventative maintenance
• In-depth knowledge of monitors, projectors, and video conferencing systems
• Manage and complete quarterly preventative maintenance projects
• Create and resolve break/fix tickets via client ticketing system
• Support customer requests for meetings
• Escalate large issues to VC Lead Technician
• Manage site inventory and spares using a database
• Serve as point of contact for Level 2 technicians
• Coordinate with VC Lead for large projects and escalations

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of AV experience
• Knowledge of live sound signal flow and troubleshooting integrated audio systems (e.g., ClearOne), wireless microphone management
• Understanding of AMX / Extron Control System functionalities
• Familiarity with Extron components and AV signal paths
• Ability to travel between sites using personal vehicle or company van
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. solo
• Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, crawl, kneel for extended periods
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows

Wage Range

The hourly rate is between $22.00 - $25.00. Factors influencing starting pay include geography, skills, education, and experience.
