Lead Web Developer

Position Overview
We areseeking a smart individual with a mind for both practical, big-picture thinkingand careful attentiveness to technical details who will serve in the key roleof Lead Web Developer in our team. The ideal candidate for this role will be aseasoned professional with 10+ years of experience developing web-basedsoftware for midsize-to-large organizations, and who is inspired by thechallenge of bringing quality solutions to small businesses. This role requiresa heart to train and advise fellow team members in skillfully solving problems,a respect for real-world budgetary constraints, the ability to think long-termrather than short-term, and the insight to discern what the customer trulyneeds.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership and Mentorship:Guide and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to best practices andfostering professional growth.
- Project Oversight and Delivery:Manage web development projects, ensuring timely delivery, scope adherence, andquality standards.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Actas the main point of contact for stakeholders, aligning development withcustomer needs and expectations.
- Code Quality and Best Practices:Enforce best practices in code quality, testing, version control, and efficientdevelopment workflows.
- Contributing to System Design and Architecture:Collaborate with the Lead Architect on system design, ensuring alignmentbetween web development and architecture.

Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Scienceor a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of professionalexperience in web development, including designing and supporting full-stack webapplications.
- Strong database expertise, SQLqueries and optimization, data normalization, NoSQL databases.
- Linux / Unix server administrationand scripting experience. Administration and deployment of applications inKubernetes clusters is a plus.
- Experience working in cloudplatforms, particularly AWS, and exposure to BaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions.
- Understanding of emergingtechnologies such as AI, low-code/no-code platforms, IoT, and blockchain.
- Excellent problem-solving skills,attention to detail, and organization skills.
- Strong in-person and writtencommunication skills, with a proven track record of managing client relationshipsand leading technical teams.

Workplace Structure
