Role Overview

In the role of Design Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:

• Evaluating, selecting, and applying architectural techniques, procedures, and modifications to construction documents.
• Performing architectural assignments with guidance from the Project Architect or Project Manager.
• Collaborating with owners/clients to select and recommend procedures.
• Writing specifications and conducting code reviews related to architectural matters.
• Assisting Project Architects, other Coordinators, or Technicians across all phases of the architectural process.
• Performing additional duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture.
• Experience in healthcare, educational, civic, science, or research facilities.
• Interest or experience in sustainable design/LEED.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and 3-D Studio Max.
• Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper.
• Preference for local candidates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Credentials to obtain future registration.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• A desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and related tools.
• Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
