Role Overview
In the role of Design Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
- Evaluating, selecting, and applying architectural techniques, procedures, and modifications to construction documents.
- Performing architectural assignments with guidance from the Project Architect or Project Manager.
- Collaborating with owners/clients to select and recommend procedures.
- Writing specifications and conducting code reviews related to architectural matters.
- Assisting Project Architects, other Coordinators, or Technicians across all phases of the architectural process.
- Performing additional duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture.
- Experience in healthcare, educational, civic, science, or research facilities.
- Interest or experience in sustainable design/LEED.
- Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and 3-D Studio Max.
- Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper.
- Preference for local candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Credentials to obtain future registration.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- A desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and related tools.
- Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
