Position: Senior/Principal Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
The MSL is a field-facing representative of US Medical Affairs responsible for engaging with external customers such as Healthcare Providers, researchers, professional organizations, and decision-makers. The role involves exchanging scientific and medical information, understanding customer needs, and providing insights on research developments, treatment landscapes, and medical concepts. The MSL also plays a leadership role by mentoring colleagues and managing special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary scientific resource for healthcare professionals in the territory.
Lead congress coverage efforts and coordinate MSL activities at professional events.
Present clinical, scientific, and economic data on Eisai's products.
Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Serve as a contact for external investigators and provide guidance on research projects.
Mentor and train new or less experienced MSLs.
Contribute to strategic planning and special projects.
Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in medical or health sciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.).
For Sr. MSL: 1.5-3+ years in pharma/biotech, preferably in Oncology.
For Principal MSL: 8+ years in Oncology with extensive industry and clinical experience.
Experience in mentoring and strong knowledge of oncology disease management.
Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time.
Valid driver's license and ability to set up a home office.
Salary ranges are provided for both roles, and the position is eligible for incentive plans. Applicants must be able to engage in in-person meetings, which may require credentialing and vaccination proof.
