Note: The starting monthly salary is at the minimum rate of pay advertised above.

Shift Work: Applicants must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Perform moderately complex clerical and related library support work; and perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  1. Legal Authorization to Work: The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government to be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the U.S.
  2. General Experience: One (1) year of clerical work experience demonstrating knowledge of spelling, arithmetic, the ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions, and compare words and numbers quickly and accurately. It must also demonstrate knowledge of and ability to perform various clerical procedures, operate office equipment, and interact tactfully and politely with others.
  3. Substitutions Allowed: Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements will apply.
