Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center offering advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. We are currently seeking a Per Diem Music, Recreation, or Art Therapist.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing direct patient care on assigned units, including Creative Therapy group sessions and doctor-ordered individual assessments.
  2. Completing Creative Therapy documentation such as assessments, group summaries, and billing within designated timeframes.
  3. Serving as a member of the treatment team and understanding the developmental and age-specific needs of adolescent and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

Job requirements include:

  • Music Therapist: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and Board Certified Music Therapist.
  • Recreation Therapist: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and Board Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.
  • Art Therapist: Master's Degree from an accredited institution and Registered Art Therapist.
  • Weekend availability.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Inpatient psychiatric experience and ability to work with large groups preferred.
