Community Library at NCW Libraries in Pateros

Provides public library services across multiple locations in North Central WA, including the volunteer-based Oases of Literacy project, which promotes literacy and offers learning opportunities for Spanish speakers beginning to learn English. Materials are available in Russian and Spanish.

Full access library cards are issued in person, and applications are available at all library locations.

Fee: Library cards are free for residents of Chelan, Douglas, Ferry, Grant, or Okanogan counties.

A library card is free for anyone who lives or owns property in these counties. Residents outside the service area or in non-contracting communities are eligible for a fee card. Adults 18 and older must provide identification with a current address; alternative proof, such as a postmarked letter, is accepted. Minors under 18 can receive a card without ID, and parents or guardians can apply on behalf of minors regardless of age. For more information, please call.
