Vertex AV is seeking dedicated individuals who can deliver top-quality installations and exceptional customer service for residential and commercial clients. We specialize in Smart Home installations as a low voltage contractor.
Job Summary:
Works collaboratively with other installers and independently to complete installations and service calls. Responsible for timely completion of assigned tasks and paperwork, as well as vehicle care and maintenance.
- Self-motivated, task-oriented, and able to apply best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Complete audio/video installations and setups for single rooms
- Install and set up satellite/cable systems
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of simple systems
- Install and configure basic networking and data systems
- Program basic single-room and advanced systems
- Understand multi-room systems and setups
- Understand security system programming and design
- Familiarity with Vertex AV single-room systems
- Obtain CEDIA ESTII certification within 6 months of hire or already possess it
- Complete ProSource University training within the first year
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Willing to work on a rotating on-call schedule
- Proficient in all assistant-level qualifications
- Competent in desktop and mobile computing
- Clean driving record and pass background check for DCJS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of field experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
